Mansion Poker Review
Mansion Poker first launched in 2005 and was an independent poker room. They
made waves with their unique offer to players allowing them to qualify online to
be part of the show “The Poker Dome” where players would battle for the shot at
a guaranteed $1 million dollar prize. Over the last could of years they have
made some big changes with the current move to the OnGame Network. This allowed
Mansion to continue to offer huge guaranteed tournaments and provide ring games
where traffic is seen throughout the tables daily. Mansion offers a competitive
signup bonus, high quality software and over 4 million dollars in guaranteed
tournaments each month. This poker room does not allow US players.
Important: Use
Mansion Poker
Referral Code "SELECT500" for the maximum $500 bonus.
The Mansion poker bonus offers a 100% match up to $500. Its' not a difficult
one to clear and will unlock in $10 increments once you have earned the required
amount of comp points. You will earn a minimum of 5 FPP's for every $1 in
tournament fees and ring games provide points based on game played, limits and
number of players involved. In total you will need 80 FPP's for every $10 in
bonus awarded.
The competition does vary significantly especially in the lower limits where
you will find plenty of loose players. These games easily represent a 55% viewed
flop percentage whereas the higher limits above the $3/$6 spread, is reduced to
45%.
The ring games support the standard variations you would expect with Mansion
Poker offering Texas Holdem, Omaha , Omaha Hi Lo, Seven Card Stud and Five Card
Draw. When Mansion moved to the OnGame Network the players they had did move
with them but the benefits that came when the merge took place boosted the site
with traffic, This means that during peak hours you will now find over 6,500
real money players online and the majority of stakes are fairly active. Texas
Holdem and Omaha Hi Lo are still the more popular variations out of the bunch.
The stakes s $0.10/$0.20 and climb as high as $25/$50 no limit. There is a 5%
rake taken from each pot with a cap at $3 per hand.
Mansion has always had a fairly strong tournament line up and now offers over
$4,000,000 in guaranteed tournaments each month. The network attracts over
32,000 tournament players so you can defiantly expect some solid competition
especially in the big events which are scheduled on the weekends. The largest
tournaments available consist of a $150,000, $110,000 and $50,000 and along with
a monthly final which features a $750,000 guaranteed. You will be able to
qualify for any of the room's weekly events for as little as a couple dollars or
playing in the Sit and Go tournaments.
The software is developed by OnGame which offers a very sleek and easy to use
program. The lobby allows for quick navigation between tournaments and ring
games and features a chat room built right in to socialize with the other
players. You will never need to worry about speed with mansion always running at
top level and updating frequently. They do not offer anything over the top as
far as graphics and features are concerned.
Statistics are supported in the lobby. You will need to select each table
individually to display the % of players who view the flop along with average
pot size. Players will be able to multi-table up to four games simultaneously
and can opt in for the cascading windows tool to make this option more
functional. Other features Mansion Poker has provided include; speed selection,
four colour decks, hand history and the ability to set up your own private
tournaments for you and your friends.
Mansion offers live chat, phone, email, and even displays a fax number if you
need to contact them. The support is very quick and using the chat services you
should receive a response within a few minutes.
Deposit methods include; NETeller, MoneyBookers, Instadebit, Eco Card, UKash,
Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, Solo, bank transfer, check and inter-account
transfers.
