Paradise Poker Review

Paradise Poker is the oldest poker room online with a history of nearly 10 years in the industry, continuing to provide players with top of the line offers on a reliable and stable platform. After the UIGEA hit, Paradise merged with Sportingbet PLc which meant a move to the Boss Media Group. The poker room offers daily freerolls, a competitive signup bonus along with frequent reload offers. In addition you will be able to play in the language of your choice along with currency. Paradise poker no longer accepts US players.

The Paradise poker bonus for new players offers a 100% match up to $500 in addition to reload bonuses. This bonus is standard in terms of clearance, at a rate of €5 for every 100 frequent player points you accumulate playing real money games. Points are awarded at a rate of 1pt/0.25 in rake or 1 point for every $1 in tournaments fess that you pay.

The competition in this poker room is very weak in comparison to others, with players averaging a flop percentage as high as 60% right up to the $10/$20 tables. During our review it didn't matter what stake we looked at they averaged weak and careless players.

Paradise Poker offers Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi Lo and 5 Card. All of the stakes begin at the $0.02/$0.04 leading up to $50/$100 limits. What is different from this room is the tables are listed based on currency. If you want to play poker in Euros or US Dollars, you would simply select the ring game offering such currency...no need to exchange. Each of the games is available in full 10 player tables, 5 player tables or in the case of Stud; you will be able to play in 8 or 5 player tables. Heads up matches are available; however there are not many high limit games active during off peak hours. Paradise Poker takes a 5% rake, capped at $3 with a no flop no drop rule in place.

Tournaments available are quite big with weekend headers starting with a $100,000GP followed by a $250,000GP. Each of the large tournaments has daily qualifiers allowing anyone to get in for cheap. Something to make note of is the frequency in overlays held in this room, since many of the large tournaments do not obtain enough players to meet the buyin. Each of the tournaments scheduled is available in Texas Holdem only and the poker room supports guarantees, re-buys, and freezeouts. The buyins start as low as $1 and can extend to a couple hundred. Sit and Go tournaments are available however these have a tendency to take a bit to fill in off peak times.

The software performs very well with a full speed and zero lags. Paradise is supported by the Boss Media network which runs on Grand Virtual Technology software. The program utilizes all the necessary features that have become staples among players such as; hand history, multi-tabling, multi-lingual support, multi-currency, four coloured decks among other things. The lobby can seem somewhat overwhelming with the amount of cash games available in multiple currencies, but you will have a filter available to remove any you do not want to play. In addition, the lobby provides detailed statics for each of these tables, such as % of players that view a flop, average pot size and hands played per hour. Multi-tabling is accessible via full view mode, cascading tiles and a handy resizing tool allowing you to fit four games onto one screen. Players who multi-table will be able to do so with eight games in play at once.

Paradise Poker support is available daily via email, and live chat. The live chat support should answer within a couple of minutes.

Depositing methods include; VISA, MasterCard, NETeller, FirePay, Wire Transfer, Bank Draft.
